Learn How to Learn: Immersive PD(X) Classroom Strand

We have a surprise for you. This year, we have created a special add-on to the AcceleratED (APDX) conference which will be facilitated by Kristin Ziemke. She’ll be joined by a classroom of 4th grade students from Evergreen Public Schools.

What is the Learn How to Learn: Immersive PD(X) Classroom Strand?

The Learn How to Learn: Immersive PD(X) Classroom Strand is a day full of classroom immersion.

This strand will help you gain new perspectives as a master in her craft models instruction that draws out kids natural curiosity and builds literacy skills for today. In just one day, Mrs. Ziemke will help you gain job embedded skills and ideas alongside a group of your peers to help support your literacy and joy of learning goals. Come to observe these practices and ask questions of both Kristin and her students.

Why for Leaders?

This strand is for leaders that want to see what a digital curious classroom can look like. Ask questions that they can take back to their staff and build new or improved literacy skills. It's not everyday that leaders get this kind of access to one of the more accomplished educators in the field.
