Make Your Profile

If this is your first OETC event, you will receive an email from OETC containing your temporary password and your account name. Log in using these credentials and finish setting up your profile. This will allow you to share with the IntegratED and AcceleratED community, and it enables you to enter in our raffle for the chance to win prizes donated by our vendors.

After you have set up your account, you can use our schedule app to build your own schedule. Simply log in and star events to add them to your schedule. Events you’ve added will show up under the starred section.

When you arrive at the Sheraton your first stop should be the registration desk. You’ll pick up your name tag and check in with OETC staff.

Join the Community

Engage with other attendees and presenters on Twitter! Use the hashtag #IPDX16 and follow @OETC. (AccleratED is a separate event from IntegratED, but both events use the IntegratED hashtag.)

AcceleratED is ticketless, which means all workshops are on a first-come basis. Use our schedule app to manage your personal conference schedule. PSU College Credit

At IntegratED Portland a 1-credit course and a 2-credit course are offered cooperatively by Portland State University and OETC. Administrators that are attending both AcceleratED and IntegratED have the opportunity to earn credit by attending workshops at the conference and developing solutions that can be applied in your job.

One-Credit Course Fee: $120

Every workshop and studio is required to have a strong focus on two components:

  1. Hands-on exploration
    All participants have a wireless device and are connected to the Internet. It is essential that we incorporate technology skills into the program, and not only model how to use the tools, but allow the participants to experience them as well.

  2. Effective professional development strategies
    Actively engaging the learners in exploration, collaboration and interaction following the research on the brain and learning rather than “sage on the stage”.
    • Methods of instruction and integration include hands on wireless device, mobile device, team discussion, group work, interactive lecture, projection and mostly “brains on” interaction and problem solving.
    • Student evaluation will be an online evaluation tool that includes scores and room for comments (rating each session, the content, delivery and effective staff development criteria).
    • Instructional materials include a supporting website, blog, Schoology and mobile content.

Digital Media Academy

This year, OETC has partnered with Digital Media Academy (DMA) to offer all of our attendees exclusive access to their summer camp curriculum. This curriculum is used during their elite technology education programs, and each course covers 40 hours of hands-on learning. You can use these resources to supplement your own lessons, conduct an after school program, or just offer a few fun STEM activities for your students.
